Through a period of consultation with Angus Alive, Indigo Fitness designed innovative space layouts using equipment more in line with the market trends and also integrating new popular spaces on to the gym floor, while not sacrificing any functionality to the space or equipment to the users.
The gym flooring is an aspect of the gym design that can often be overlooked. This is a critical part of the design not only to ensure that the subfloor and equipment isn’t damaged, but to also create a desired look and feel to the space. We supplied a jigsaw fitting 14mm and 7mm rubber tile which varied in colour depending on training zone. adding to the unique feel of the space.
The training zones consisted of Strength, Functional Training and Fixed Resistance and Cardio. These distinct training areas maximise floor space and give each area a clear identity.
A bespoke rig system was designed to increase functionality of the space without impacting on floor space. The bespoke rig integrates a smith machine, half rack and cable pulley along with storage for bumper plates and accessory items. Our ability to custom colour the rig, added another unique element to the facility design to strengthen the brand identity across Angus Alive sites.
Along with the rig, we supplied plate loaded single station strength machines, custom coloured, a variety of functional and strength accessory items including Dumbbells, Rubber Kettlebells, coloured bumper plates and grip weight plates.
To complete the functional training zone we also supplied a HIIT cardio machines including RAZE Renegade Airbike and Concept2 SkiErg and Rower.
