INDIGOFITNESS HQ

SHOWCASING EXCELLENCE

Location: Warwickshire, England
Training Space: Corporate Wellness & Small Group Training
Website: www.indigofitness.com

To truly showcase our solutions, we re-designed our on-site gym at our headquarters. This gym serves not only as a testing ground for our products but also as a space to inspire potential customers, a wellness hub for the benefit of IndigoFitness employees and home to POD Training, a leading small group training service.

The Situation

As a UK manufacturer committed to excellence, our gym serves as a physical representation of that. We recognised the need for a credible and immersive environment where our potential customers could see, touch, and experience our products firsthand.

While our previous setup allowed us to display our products, it lacked the dynamic and realistic setting needed to fully demonstrate their potential in a practical environment.

We wanted a training space that could effectively showcase the full scope of our product offerings, integrate third-party products, and provide a platform for product development, training workshops, and customer engagement.

Additionally, it was important for this training space to serve as a functional gym where our solutions could be benefited by staff, and POD Training who run an external small group training service within the facility.

The Solution

In response to this need, we embarked on the ambitious project of re-designing and installing a new on-site gym at IndigoFitness HQ. This gym was meticulously planned and executed to reflect our dedication to delivering quality gym design and equipment solutions tailored to the unique needs of each customer. The space was designed to be multifunctional and was equipped with a full range of the latest IndigoFitness products, configured and integrated into the space.

The gym design customer considerations included IndigoFitness staff and POD Training coaches, who conduct individual and group training sessions six days a week. This setup allows us to observe how gym members interact with our equipment, providing valuable insights into how our designs perform in real-world scenarios. These observations have been instrumental in optimising the design, usability, and overall experience of IndigoFitness training spaces.

The Result

The new IndigoFitness HQ Gym has become a central hub for customer interaction, allowing us to provide expert guidance and recommendations based on firsthand demonstrations of our products. Customers have been inspired by the immersive and interactive environment, leading to increased interest in and awareness of our solutions.

For our employees, the gym offers a convenient and high-end training space to maintain their fitness and wellness.

The gym’s design has also proven to be highly effective for POD Training’s business. According to feedback from Coach Chloe Longstaff, the new gym has significantly enhanced their ability to conduct functional Small Group Personal Training sessions. The carefully planned space allows for time-efficient workouts, practical exercises, and seamless transitions between activities. The “wow factor” of the gym’s aesthetic design has also been highlighted as a key feature that impresses clients upon arrival.

The ability to test our equipment in a live training environment has provided invaluable insights into user behavior. We’ve observed how members retrieve, store, adjust, and move equipment, enabling us to optimise space utilisation and enhance the overall training experience. This feedback loop has been critical in refining our product designs to better meet the needs of both operators and end-users.

“I love how everything has a home. This makes loading and unloading barbells so much quicker and easier! This gives us more time to work within our sessions.”

How has the new gym impacted POD Training?

The new gym space has allowed pod Personal Training to include more within our sessions. We are a functional Small Group Personal Training studio and our workouts are centred around time efficiency, using space wisely and having practical but fun exercises in our programming. The space we have now means we can do all of the above and also plan quality sessions that suit all levels and abilities.  It also looks incredible which gives the wow factor on arrival!
