After outgrowing their training base at The Avenue in Sunbury, London Irish embarked upon a project to create a new world class elite training facility featuring a new build, state of the art gym, with separate combat room and physio area. Indigo Fitness were brought into the process as early as possible, acting on a consultancy basis in the design and build phase before moving into the gym space layout, the technical aspects of equipment specification and finally, installation.

The Situation

We wanted to provide a space that would match the goals, visions and training approach of London Irish as they embarked upon the start of a new era for the club. After spending time with the club we went away and prepared our vision for an environment that would exceed their expectations. We presented this as a series of scaled 3D renders with supporting technical specifications. These really allowed London Irish to see exactly what they were getting before going ahead and gave them full confidence in the what the final solution would look like.

Flooring
A fully integrated flooring solution incorporating lifting areas, sprint/plyo tracks, functional zone and cardio area, laid level across a number of different surfaces to deliver a totally flexible solution.

Equipment
Customised power racks with a range of attachments and accessories, allowing each rack to become it’s own training zone.

Bespoke Designs
Bespoke scrum trainer designed specifically for London Irish.

Custom Colours & Branding
Custom coloured and branded equipment and upholstery.
