IndigoFitness crafted a series of customised equipment and flooring solutions to meet Third Space’s requirements and complement the historical character of the building. To address acoustics, spreader plates were installed under nearly every piece of equipment, from individual stations to larger cardio machines, effectively managing sound and vibration throughout the space. Additionally, racks were engineered to be linked and free-standing to protect the acoustic subfloor, avoiding any need for direct fixing.
A visually striking centerpiece, the custom turf rig proudly showcases the Third Space logo at the end of the track. This design choice reinforces brand identity while creating a focal point that draws the eye through the gym. The rig also features double-sided storage to optimise accessory organisation, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Precision-engineered RAZE Shadow XD racks and Inset Graphix platforms were crafted to integrate seamlessly with the acoustic floor and align with the building’s architectural elements. Custom configurations included adjusting the height of one rack to accommodate existing ducting, ensuring both usability and a cohesive visual appearance.
To make efficient use of available space, Sweat X Storage and HIIT Studio storage were designed to fit precisely within the gym’s unique alcoves, maximising training and movement areas while maintaining easy access to equipment.
Every detail, from the custom equipment to the expert flooring solutions, was thoughtfully designed to meet Third Space’s high standards, combining innovative product design with sensitivity to the building’s historic architecture.
