Sustainability
Sustainable by Design
For us, how a training space is made matters just as much as what happens inside it. With more than 25 years of experience, we have consistently evolved our approach to put sustainability at the heart of our operations. Every facility we deliver is designed to be remarkable in performance while also responsible in its impact.
Key areas of focus include:
- Reducing our environmental footprint through renewable energy and low-carbon innovation.
- Extending product lifecycles with modular design and flexible maintenance.
- Partnering with like-minded suppliers to ensure clean, durable and ethical materials.
But sustainability also means supporting people. From grassroots sports to workplace wellbeing, our approach puts people and communities at the centre of our impact.
Sustainability in Action
Our commitment to net-zero by 2035 is more than an ambition; it is a roadmap we are already delivering against. We have reduced emissions through renewable energy adoption and lower business travel, while embedding sustainability principles into every new product.
We are equally focused on the social and governance aspects of ESG. This means investing in staff development and wellbeing, engaging with schools and veterans, and operating transparently with internationally recognised standards and reporting frameworks.
Highlights include:
- Net-zero operations target by 2035.
- Our ISO accreditations support ESG performance and certification including: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and Cyber Essentials.
- Verified carbon reporting aligned with SECR and PPN 06/21.

Our Approach
Environmental Approach
Transparency is key to progress. That’s why we’ve published a full breakdown of our 2025 greenhouse gas emissions, giving us a benchmark for continuous improvement.
- Scope 1: 34.28 tCO₂e
- Scope 2: 15.91 tCO₂e
- Scope 3: 48.86 tCO₂e
From manufacturing at our UK headquarters to sourcing FSC-certified materials, every decision we make is guided by our responsibility to reduce environmental impact while strengthening resilience for the future.
Social Approach
Fitness is about more than performance; it’s about people. Our social programmes unite communities, support veterans, and invest in young people. Partnerships with the British Army Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Programme, the Veterans Contact Point and local schools demonstrate this commitment in action.
We also sponsor community sporting events, such as military boxing, and invest in employee wellbeing, skills development and long-term career growth. These efforts align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in health, education, equality and reducing inequalities.
Governance Approach
Good governance is the foundation of trust. At IndigoFitness, we go beyond compliance to build accountability and resilience into our operations.
Our governance approach includes:
- Maintaining ISO and accreditation standards across quality, environment, health and safety, and digital security.
- Protecting data and ensuring ethical labour practices.
- Migrating to renewable energy and embedding lifecycle design into our products.
Governance isn’t just a framework; it’s our promise to deliver with integrity, transparency and accountability.
Our Environmental Approach
Strengthening Trust Through Responsible Governance
We have chosen to publish this ESG report as part of our wider commitment to transparency, accountability, and continual improvement. By formalising our approach to environmental, social, and governance goals, we aim to better understand our impact, strengthen trust with our stakeholders, and align our actions with industry best practices.
This report reflects our efforts to embed sustainability across every aspect of our operations – from how we manufacture our equipment to how we support our people and communities.
Building Long-Term Resilience Through Sustainable Investment
It also supports our strategic focus on long-term resilience, ensuring we remain responsive to changing expectations and future legislation.
IndigoFitness operates from our head office and manufacturing site in Warwickshire, which we purchased in 2017. Since then, we have continued to invest in improved resource efficiency, renewable energy, and low-carbon innovation. This 2.5-acre site forms the foundation of our progress, helping us reduce emissions while remaining proudly UK-made.

This independent verification provides stakeholders with confidence that our ESG journey is credible, measurable and transparent.
