In demonstration of our commitment to the British Army, IndigoFitness has the role of sole sponsor for the British Army Jiu-Jitsu Team. Our commitment to the Army directly involves supporting the Army’s top-performing athletes, providing them with unparalleled opportunities to compete in premier competitions on the global stage.

On Friday, May 31, this collaboration enabled Bombardier Josh Gibbs of the Royal Artillery to compete in the prestigious IBJJF World Championships held in Long Beach, California. Josh, a two-time European Gold Medallist, showcased his exceptional skills by submitting two of his opponents en route to the Semi-Finals. In a closely contested match, he narrowly lost to the world’s number two seed. This stellar performance earned Josh a spot among a select group of British athletes to ever medal at the IBJJF World Championships and marked him as the first person in Defence to achieve this feat – a massive accomplishment.
