The Indigo team like nothing more than a unique challenge and the key to making a success of the THIRTY NINE project was getting involved early and continuous close collaboration.
Being involved from the early stages allowed Tim and Indigo to influence the layout before the final plans had been signed off. Through the use of 3D visuals and 360 degree video flythroughs, Tim could really see and feel how the space would work in practice and had the confidence to make key decisions about the different training areas.
DuraTRAIN was the natural flooring solution to be used throughout. Its superior noise and vibration reduction properties meant that noise from the training areas would not be transferred throughout the rest of the club (which is very important when you have fine dining upstairs and a hair and beauty studio next door).
Training equipment included three custom rigs that were designed and manufactured to maximise available space and functionality, including one that is suspended from the ceiling and incorporates dancing poles and yoga hammocks. THIRTY NINE Monte Carlo branding was incorporated into much of the equipment including; PU dumbells, PU bumper plates, lifting platforms, custom made med ball walls, and it was even embossed onto the upholstery. The Indigo Fitness installation team were on-site for a month, handling everything from delivery of equipment, fitting of the flooring and assembly of all the training equipment, undertaking wall, floor and ceiling fixings where necessary. Every small detail was taken care of before the team left their Monaco base and headed back to the UK.
