IndigoFitness, a leading provider of fitness infrastructure solutions, has played a pivotal role in supporting Operation Interflex, the UK’s largest military training effort since the Second World War. This initiative, aimed at preparing Ukrainian recruits for combat against Russian forces, stands as a testament to the strategic partnership between IndigoFitness, Landmarc Support Services, and the UK Armed Forces.
Operation Interflex, codenamed by the UK Armed Forces, required the expertise of IndigoFitness to design, manufacture, and install four temporary strength and conditioning shelters across the South of England. These shelters, strategically positioned within the training environment, serve as crucial hubs for intensive training sessions, accommodating up to 15 soldiers simultaneously.
The scope of IndigoFitness’ involvement encompassed every aspect of the project, from obtaining planning consent to executing ground works and installing electrical systems. Their meticulous attention to detail ensured that the facilities met the rigorous standards required for military training, including adherence to the Common Military Syllabus (CMS) followed by British Army soldier recruits.
IndigoFitness’ contribution to Operation Interflex has been instrumental in bolstering Ukraine’s defence capabilities against Russian aggression. Over 52,000 Ukrainian recruits have undergone training facilitated, in part, by the cutting-edge facilities delivered by IndigoFitness.
“We are immensely proud to have played a part in supporting Ukraine’s defence efforts and contributing to the success of Operation Interflex. Our commitment to excellence in military fitness infrastructure solutions aligns perfectly with the objectives of this ground breaking initiative.” IndigoFitness
