Experience:
Providing training space solutions for a wide range of members and keeping up with the latest fitness trends can be a challenge. We’ve worked with a wide range of clients in the fitness sector, from small independent gyms to large health club chains, providing everything from flooring solutions to full fit-outs.
We were engaged to solve a number of complex engineering challenges and collaborate with the Third Space senior management team, architects, structural engineers and main contractors to deliver a high-spec club for tomorrow and world class training environment.
See how we designed, manufactured and installed the hero gym spaces at Third Space Moorgate.
Within an education setting there can be competing objectives for the gym space. From catering for day-to-day student activity, to providing the right environment for aspiring athletes. This requires flexible solutions with plenty of training options. We’ve worked with a wide range of clients in the education sector, from simple supply of equipment, through to squash court conversions, and full-blown strength and conditioning room fit-outs.
Indigo Insight:
Marlborough College a fully coeducational, and independent British boarding and day international school in Malaysia.
Sport is a very important aspect of life at Marlborough College and they required a gym to match all their other outstanding facilities. They were looking for the ability to train large groups of students at one time, whilst also being able to tailor sessions for the hugely diverse range of athletes and sport they offer.
As a contract holder for the supply of physical training equipment to the Ministry of Defence (MoD). We have worked throughout the UK on a wide range of different military projects; from the simple supply of training equipment, to full gym re-designs and fit outs, to custom product developments that have required us to design and engineer specialist products, to the construction of large outdoor strength and conditioning shelters.
Indigo Insight:
RAPTC, Aldershot is the home of the Royal Army Physical Training Instructor. The unit that trains the Army Physical Training Instructors of the future.
The British army has a requirement to create semi-permanent physical training infrastructure outside of traditional gym buildings to increase capacity but also deliver enhanced functionality as training requirements have evolved over recent years with a shift towards strength and conditioning. We installed a strength & conditioning shelter at Aldershot to continue to adapt to the needs of the British Army.
Designing a high performance strength and conditioning space has it’s own set of demands and characteristics. We’ve worked alongside many athletes and coaches over the years, helping turn their specific sports performance needs and ideas into reality.
Indigo Insight:
Bromley Football Club are a club with huge ambitions both on and off the pitch and have demonstrated the desire to grow by investing in brand new facilities at their Hayes Lane stadium.
We were selected to design and install a state-of-the-art performance gym for Bromley F.C. Working closely with the Club’s CEO, Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning staff to produce a leading facility that would drive high performance and equip the players to develop in their bid to win promotion from the National League.
A great gym experience is a must have feature for many travellers who are looking to continue their workout routine away from home. Guests are looking for facilities and experiences much closer to those found at their regular gym. Sometimes available space can be a problem in hotels. But with our know how design expertise and manufacturing capabilities, we can create the perfect gym for your guests and budget.
Indigo Insight:
Weetwood Hall is built around a 17th Century Jacobean Manor House and for a long time, played host to large number of professional sports teams and athletes who utilise the hotel for training camps and prior to matches.
The hotel had never had a strength and conditioning facility on site and athletes have had to leave the hotel to travel to a local health club for specialist sessions.
We were asked to fill in that missing piece by designing and installing their brand new gym.
Many businesses are beginning to understand the benefits of physical and mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. From decreased absenteeism to increased productivity, or as a means of attracting and keeping g the best talent. An on site gym can be a great addition. We can advise you on the best gym design and layout, integrate the latest technology and create a gym space that looks and feels part of your brand.
